Inter are the best club in the world according to the International Federation of Football History & Statistics, in the period running from 1 March 2010 to 28 February 2011. The Nerazzurri sit on 304 points ahead of the big Spanish two, Barcelona and Real Madrid, who are second and third respectively.
It's good to see Inter getting the credit they deserve, though it still annoys me that here in the UK Inter doesn't get recognition as much as the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid or even AC Milan in sports stores and sports memorabilia promotions, after we won the treble last year I contacted leading memorabilia website Icons to see if they would be getting Inter players in their line up of stars and they said they had no plans to include any Inter players! What is wrong with these people? Anyway I've gone off on a tangent so let's get back to the rankings.
Bayern Munich are ranked fourth, followed by the highest-ranked South-American team, Internacional, in fifth. The rest of the top ten is completed by Manchester United, Estudiantes, Liverpool, Porto and Chelsea.
The other Italian sides in the list are Juventus (22nd), Roma (25th), Napoli (30th), AC Milan (40th) and Palermo (61st).
The best club in the month of February was Benfica, who won all their games in the league, the cup and the Europa League.
For signed memorabilia from you favourite sports stars check out Icons on the link below (Just don't expect to see any Inter players on there!)
